The Alexander Technique has given millions of people a new ease and freedom in living.
It has helped them to overcome back, neck and joint pain, restrictions in breathing and speaking, problems related to poor posture, as well as anxiety and stress-related conditions.
This highly practical introductory workshop is your chance to dip your toe in Alexander Technique waters and find out if it’s the right thing for you. Alternatively, if you already have experience of the Technique, this is your chance to refresh your skills.
In the two hours we have you will:
- playfully explore the basic principles of the Technique
- learn an active relaxation exercise which you can practise at home
- explore at how the Alexander Technique principles can be applied to your everyday movements and experiment with more easeful alternatives.
All are welcome!
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring some thick socks, a mat to lie on, and a few paperback books to act as a headrest.
