Interested people often get in touch with me enquiring when my next workshop or
class is scheduled. So for all of you who are looking for a great way to put a toe
into Alexander Technique waters but don’t fancy an individual taster session for
whatever reason, I’m due to run an introductory Alexander Technique workshop
in Brighton & Hove at the end of the summer.
Date: Sunday, 1st September 2013, 10.30am-12.30am
Venue: The Wellbeing Centre, 143 Portland Road, Hove BN3 5QJ
Cost: 20 pounds with a reduced-price (25 pounds) individual follow-up session (45
minutes)
We’ll be exploring the basic principles of AT and looking at how you can apply them
to your everyday movements (sitting, standing, bending, walking) so that you can
do them with more ease. Releasing tension, improving posture and learning how to
use your back effectively are also on the programme.
This is a great way to find out if the Alexander Technique is the right thing for you and
a great way of getting back into daily life after the summer holidays.
If you’d like more details just get in touch with me via the contact page. And if you’d
like to take part, just contact the Wellbeing Centre on (+44) 01273 722422 or
I hope to see you there and in the meantime wish you a warm and wonderful summer.
